Hi, I’m Ivan Joseph, a Los Angeles–based post-production sound professional specializing in dialogue editing, sound design, VO recording, and re-recording mixing. I’m passionate about creating immersive, emotionally resonant soundscapes that help stories come alive.
My work spans episodic series, short/feature films, and branded content, blending technical precision with creative storytelling. I’m currently part of the post-audio team for a show called Critical Role, where I help deliver broadcast-quality mixes heard by millions around the world.

I offer sessions in a fully equipped, AC WhisperRoom booth, paired with a Neumann TLM 103 microphone, ensuring broadcast-ready clarity. From narration to character work, your voice talent will be captured with warmth, precision, and zero distractions.

Balance is everything. Through re-recording mixing, I blend dialogue, music, and effects into a cohesive final mix that translates seamlessly across platforms. Whether your delivery format is stereo, surround, or higher-end mixes, I ensure your project meets technical standards while delivering the emotional punch it deserves.
Project Delivery
Below are the technical delivery standards for post-production sound.
Clear, well-organized files help ensure smooth, accurate mix and review process. If your project deviates from any of these specs or you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
Audio (AAF/OMF)
• Format: AAF or OMF 2.0 (embedded preferred – audio files included inside the export)
• If Linking Media: Please ensure all audio files are included, clearly labeled, and delivered in organized folders
• Audio File Type: broadcast wave (.wav)
• Bit Depth: 24-bit (or native 16-bit)
• Handles: 5 seconds preferred
• Start Time: 01:00:00:00 preferred. If different, please note the start time at delivery. A 2-Pop is helpful but not required.
• Large Sessions: If the AAF/OMF exceeds 2GB, please split the delivery into acts, reels, or clearly defined sections
• Reference Files: MP3 should be provided for reference only

• Codecs: ProRes (Proxy), DNxHD, or H.264
• Resolution:
Preferred: 1920x1080
Minium: 1280x720
Accepted: 720x480
• Frame Rate: Must match timeline
• Burnt-in Timecode: preferred as it helps ensure sync
